Side A, a Filipino pop band formed in 1985, originated from the Philippines. The
group was founded by brothers Rodel and Naldy Gonzalez, Mar Dizon, Gabe Escalon,
Bobot Barroga, and original lead singer Ding Silverio. They gained recognition
through performances at various venues such as Holiday Inn and Rumors, and their
debut album in 1989 included the hit single "Eva Marie". The band's third album
Blue Album went triple platinum in 1993, and they garnered two Awit Awards in
