Shirma Rouse
Shirma Tamara Rouse, born 13 March 1980 on Curaçao, is a Dutch singer who began
her musical education at the Rotterdam Conservatory after studying chemistry at
Leiden University. In 2010, she released the studio album Chocolate Coated
Dreams, and 2012 saw the Aretha‑inspired album Shirma Tamara Rouse Sings Aretha,
which led to a theatre tour. Her breakthrough came with the single "Imagine" in
2013, followed by "Satisfaction" and "End of the Road" the same year. She joined
