Shane O’Mara is an Australian guitarist and record producer whose work spans
blues, country, and rock. He first rose to prominence with Stephen Cummings,
co-producing the albums A New Kind of Blue (1989), Good Humour (1991), and
Unguided Tour (1992). In 1992, he joined the Chris Wilson Band, recording the EP
The Big One and studio album Landlocked. O’Mara formed Rebecca's Empire with
Rebecca Barnard, releasing the albums Way of All Things (1996) and Welcome
