Shadmehr Aghili, born on January 27, 1973, in Tehran, Iran, is an Iranian
singer. His music career began with the release of his first album, Shaam-e
Ghariban, in 1994. He gained popularity with subsequent albums such as Bahar-e
Man (1997) and Fasl-e Ashenayi (1998). Aghili's breakthrough came with the
release of Dehati in 1999, which sold over 2.5 million cassettes in Iran.
