Shadia Mansour
Shadia Mansour, known as the “First Lady of Arabic Hip Hop”, is a
British-Palestinian rapper and singer born in London, England, in 1985 to a
Christian Palestinian family originally from Haifa and Nazareth. Heavily
influenced by classical Arab performers such as Fairouz and Umm Kulthum, she
began singing at protest rallies during her childhood and studied performing
