Jazz pianist, singer, songwriter, and actor Senri Oe was born on September 6,
1960, in Fujidera City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. While he is best known for his
Japanese pop releases during the 1980s and 1990s, his musical journey began at
the age of 3 when he began studying classical piano. After being introduced to
pop music in 1970 via Gilbert O’Sullivan’s “Alone Again (Naturally),” he changed
