Sebastian Hämer
(Sebastian Haemer)
Sebastian Hämer was born in Rostock on March 17, 1979. He is a German singer and
songwriter in the pop, soul and R&B genres and has been one of the defining
voices of German-language pop since the mid-2000s. His musical career began with
the party band Turn up. He gained his first major attention in 2003 through his
participation in the ZDF singing competition Die deutsche Stimme. In 2006, he
signed with 3p Records and released the single "Sommer unseres Lebens", which
immediately entered the German singles charts. In August of the same year, the
debut album Der fliegende Mann is...
