Sebadoh
Sebadoh is an American indie rock group formed in 1986 in Northampton,
Massachusetts, by Lou Barlow, Eric Gaffney, and later joined by Jason
Loewenstein in 1989; the trio collectively contributed vocals, guitars, and
percussion. The band’s breakthrough came with the self‑released cassette Weed
Forestin’ in 1987, followed by the The Freed Man cassette in 1988, which
attracted Homestead Records and led to the full‑length album The Freed Man in
