Screeching Weasel is an American punk rock band founded in 1986 by Ben Weasel and John Jughead in the Chicago suburb of Prospect Heights, Illinois. The group released its self-titled debut album, Screeching Weasel (1987), on Underdog Records after recording it in a single night for $200. In 1988, the band issued Boogadaboogadaboogada! on Roadkill Records, followed by a series of releases through Lookout!
