American composer and singer whose career began in the mid‑1990s with
songwriting credits for Sawyer Brown and other country acts. Emerick’s first
major breakthrough came when he co‑wrote the Top 5 single "I Don’t Believe in
Goodbye" for Sawyer Brown, establishing him as a sought‑after songwriter in
