American guitarist born in Florida in 1954, Scott Henderson is best known as the
founder, with bassist Gary Willis, of the jazz-rock band Tribal Tech, which
released a dozen albums between 1985 and 2011. Under his own name, the blues-
and funk-loving musician made a number of excellent recordings, including Dog
Party (1994), Tore Down House (1997) and Well To The Bone (2002), and took part
in numerous sessions for Jean-Luc Ponty, Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul and Jeff
