Saskia Laroo
Saskia Laroo, born July 31, 1959 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a Dutch jazz
musician. She started taking general music lessons at the age of 7 and later
joined a local fanfare orchestra. In high school, she switched to trumpet and
began learning jazz improvisation. Laroo made her first recordings in 1982 and
played a solo on "Don't you leave me Baby" for Billy Preston’s album You Can't
Keep A Good Man Down (1986). She founded Laroo Records in 1994 and released her
