French-Canadian singer-songwriter Sara Dufour was born in Dobeau-Mistassini,
Quebec, in 1984. A student at the École nationale de la chanson de Granby, the
artist first came to prominence at the Francofolies de Montréal festival, after
several years spent composing her own songs. In 2015, she released The Breaker
EP, in the bilingual country-pop vein that characterizes her style. The
following year, the album Dépanneur Pierrette saw Sara Dufour present her
repertoire during a tour of some 100 concerts across French-speaking Canada and
