Sangre de Muerdago

Sangre de Muérdago, a Galician neofolk group, was founded in 2007 by Pablo Caamiña Ursusson and based in Leipzig. Ursusson’s early involvement in the hardcore punk band Ekkaia informed the group’s eclectic sound, which blends traditional instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy and the nyckelharpa with philosophical lyricism in Galician. Their debut self‑titled album was released in 2010, followed by Deixademe Morrer No Bosque (2013), Braided Paths (2014), Lembranzas Dende O Lado Salvaxe (2015), and O Camiño Das Mans Valeiras (2015).
