Mario Sandoval emerged as the frontman of the pop group Sandoval following the
dissolution of the duo LU in 2008. The group’s debut studio album, Lo Que
Siempre Soñamos Ser, was released on 21 July 2009 and achieved gold
certification in Mexico; its lead single, "A Quien Tú Decidiste Amar", launched
the project and secured a spot at Number 1 on local sales charts. In 2010, the
single "Loco Extraño" expanded the group’s reach, while 2011 saw the live album
