Classical and pop crossover singer–songwriter Sanah Moidutty was born in Mumbai,
Maharashtra, India on July 1, 1991. She became interested in singing at the age
of 5 and was trained in Carnatic classical music (six years) and Hindustani
classical music (seven years) as well as Western vocals. Her performing career
began at the age of seven when she sang with several children’s troupes,
