The German rapper and music producer Samy Deluxe (other pseudonyms: Wickeda MC
and Sam Semilia) was born Samy Sorge in Hamburg on December 19, 1977. Inspired
by American rap, Sorge began rapping in English himself. He initially formed the
duo No Nonsens with producer DJ Dynamite before the two musicians formed the
band Dynamite Deluxe in 1997. With the German single "Füchse" from the Absoluten
Beginner album Bambule, Samy Deluxe generated major attention for the first time
