Samantha Sang is an Australian singer best known for her 1978 international hit "Emotion," written by the Bee Gees, which reached the Top 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a major success in Australia and the UK. Born Cheryl Lau Sang in Melbourne on August 5, 1951, she began performing as a child and gained national recognition in 1967 with the Top 10 Australian hit "You Made Me What I Am."
