Born in 1988, S.G. Goodman (Shaina Gail Goodman) is a singer-songwriter from
Hickman, western Kentucky. Raised in a rural farming community on the
Mississippi River, she learned to sing in the Baptist church, picked up the
guitar at the age of fifteen and studied philosophy at Murray University, before
devoting herself to music. She started out in the band The Savage Radley, which
produced the album Kudzu (2017), before turning to a solo career. Produced by
