S Club 8, originally known as S Club Juniors, was a British pop group formed in
England in 2001. The group consisted of Jay Asforis, Connor Daley, Daisy Evans,
Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings, Francesca
Sandford, and Rochelle Wiseman. They were discovered through the CBBC reality
television show S Club Search and were initially intended to be a support act
for S Club 7. Their debut single "One Step Closer" was released in April 2002
