Rui da Silva (born on April 25, 1968) is one of the most popular DJs and
producers in the Portuguese electronic music scene. Throughout the years, he has
released an extensive catalog under multiple pseudonyms and became one of the
most sought-after remixers in the world. An underground house legend in his own
right, da Silva’s beginnings as a producer coincided with the rise of club
culture in Europe. In the early 90s, he co-founded Kaos Records, the first
Portuguese label to specialize in house and electronic music, alongside DJ Vibe.
