Rossano Sportiello, born on June 1, 1974, in Vigevano, Italy, is a musician,
composer, and pianist known for his work in traditional and mainstream jazz
music. He began piano lessons at nine and started performing professionally at
16 in Milan's jazz clubs. In 1992, he joined the Trad-Jazz band Milano Jazz
Gang, touring Europe and recorded albums such as Lord You Made The Night Too
Long. Sportiello's debut album was Moon Shadow in 2002. He collaborated with
notable artists such as Slide Hampton and Clark Terry. His solo album Piano On
