Robert Greenidge

Robert Greenidge, born in Success Village, Laventille, Trinidad and Tobago, on 28 April 1950, was a Trinidadian steelpan player, composer, and arranger. Greenidge began playing the steelpan at eight years of age and joined the Desperadoes Steel Orchestra in 1965, becoming one of its primary musical arrangers and leading the ensemble to victories at the Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama competition in 1985, 1991, and 1994.
