Robert Farnon
Robert Joseph Farnon was a Canadian-born composer, conductor, musical arranger,
and trumpet player, born on July 24, 1917, in Toronto. He served as the
conductor/arranger of the Canadian Band of the Supreme Headquarters Allied
Expeditionary Force during World War II. Farnon's notable works include "Jumping
Bean" and "Portrait of a Flirt", released in 1955, as well as Westminster Waltz
and A Star is Born. He composed music for numerous films and television series,
