Robert Bonfiglio, born September 6, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an American
classical harmonica player. He began playing the diatonic harmonica at age
thirteen and initially played in local blues bands. Bonfiglio enrolled at the
University of Arizona to study chemistry but shifted his focus to music after
attending a seminar by Cham-Ber Huang in Trossingen, Germany. He co-founded the
Grand Canyon Music Festival in 1984 with his wife, flautist Clare Hoffman, and
