Robert S. Nevil, born on October 2, 1958 in the United States of America, is a
pop singer, songwriter, record producer, and guitarist. Nevil began playing
guitar at age 11 and initially performed with cover bands before transitioning
to his original music, signing a publishing deal in 1983, writing songs for
artists such as the Pointer Sisters, El DeBarge, Alison Moyet, and Earth, Wind &
Fire. In 1986, Nevil obtained his first recording contract with Manhattan
