9, 1950, in Berlin-West. He co-founded the band Ton Steine Scherben in 1970,
self-releasing their debut album Warum geht es mir so dreckig in 1971 and Keine
Macht für Niemand in 1972. The band's politically charged lyrics earned them the
label "Agitrock." Ton Steine Scherben disbanded in 1985 due to financial
