Rinto Harahap, born on March 10, 1949, in Sibolga, North Sumatra, Indonesia, was
a prominent Indonesian singer. He began his music career by joining The Mercy's
band with Iskandar, Erwin Harahap, Rizal Arysad, and Meyer Hutabarat. In the
1970s, Harahap composed songs for various artists including Nia Daniati,
Betharia Sonata, and Eddy Silitonga. His notable compositions include "Kaulah
