Ricky Hui, also known as Hui Koon-ying (許冠英), was a Hong Kong actor and singer.
He worked as a correspondent for Agence France-Presse before appearing in films
from 1972 onwards. Alongside his acting career, he released several albums,
including 發錢寒"(1977), 夏之戀 (1978), and 錢作怪"(1980). He has also contributed to his
brother Sam Hui’s albums. Ricky continued performing in concerts throughout the
1990s and 2000s, including appearances at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Ricky Hui died
of a heart attack in 2011 at the age of 65.
