Richard Reed Parry, born 4 October 1977 in Canada, is a Canadian composer,
multi‑instrumentalist and producer who first emerged as a core member of the
indie rock band Arcade Fire. His early training in electroacoustics at Concordia
University and experience with the vegetarian camp Camp Au Grand Bois laid a
foundation for his experimental approach. Richard Reed Parry’s breakthrough came
with the "Just a Blip" single in 2014, followed by the debut album Music for
