Rey Pila
Rey Pila is a Mexican rock band formed in 2009, originally as the solo project
of Diego Solórzano, former vocalist and composer of Los Dynamite. The band's
name was derived from a graffiti by Jean-Michel Basquiat, translating to "King
Battery." In 2010, Rey Pila released their self-titled debut album, produced by
Paul Mahajan in New York. The band solidified as a quartet with Andrés Velasco,
Rodrigo Blanco, and Miguel Hernández joining Solórzano. Their second album, The
