Revis is an American post-grunge band formed in 1999 in Carbondale, Illinois.
Originally named Orco, the ensemble won a radio station competition in August
2000 before relocating to Los Angeles in 2001. Due to a naming conflict, the
group changed its name to Revis and signed with Epic Records in 2002. The band
released its debut studio album, Places for Breathing, on May 20, 2003. The
recording reached Number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and featured the
single "Caught in the Rain", which reached number 8 on the Billboard Mainstream
