Renzo Arbore
Renzo Arbore is an Italian singer-songwriter and clarinetist born as Lorenzo
Giovanni Arbore on June 24, 1937, in Foggia. He began his career as a jazz
clarinetist with the ensemble Parker's Boys and performed in Naples. Arbore
reached wider visibility as a radio presenter for the programs Bandiera gialla
(1965) and Alto gradimento (1970). His recording career began with the ensemble
N.U. Orleans Rubbish Band and the single “She Was Not an Angel” (1972). Arbore
