Reggie Rockstone
Reggie Rockstone, born Reginald Yaw Asante Ossei in the United Kingdom on April
11, 1964, is a Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur recognized as the pioneer of the
hiplife genre. The son of fashion designer Ricky “Ricci” Ossei, he attended the
Achimota School and began his career as a dancer in Accra in the early 1980s.
From 1992 to 1993, he performed with the London-based rap group PLZ, releasing
the independent extended play Build a Wall Around Your Dreams. In 1994, he
