Ray Condo
Ray Tremblay, also known as Ray Condo, was born on May 16, 1950, in Hull,
Quebec, and was a Canadian rockabilly singer, saxophonist, and guitarist. At age
11, he taught himself to play the guitar and by 16 had co-written and released
his first recording, "If You Only Knew", with The Peasants. He later moved to
Vancouver, where he formed Ray Condo & His Hardrock Goners. The band's album
Crazy Date was released in 1986 on Pipeline Records. They went on to release
several albums, including Hot & Cold (1988) and Hillbilly Holiday (1993). He
