Raul Padovani
Raúl Alberto Padovani, born 3 May 1949 in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, is an
Argentine singer and actor. Discovered by RCA producer Lalo Fransen, he burst
onto the music scene with the hit "Una noche excepcional" composed by Palito
Ortega, selling thousands of copies. Padovani released a self‑titled studio
album in 1972, followed by Raúl Padovani No Tiene Novia in 1978. He expanded
into television, appearing in programs like Música en libertad, Todo es amor,
and Calabromas, and later acting in films including Mi amigo Luis, Adiós
Alejandra, and ¡Qué linda es mi familia!.
