Randall Evan Stonehill (born on March 12, 1952, in Stockton, California) is an
American singer‑songwriter and one of the pioneers of contemporary Christian
music in the United States. After graduating from Leigh High School, he moved to
Los Angeles and lived with rocker Larry Norman. Randy Stonehill’s debut, Born
Twice (1971), was financed by Pat Boone and mixed live and studio recordings. In
1976 the Norman‑produced Welcome to Paradise was released, later named in a
