Randy Kohrs
Randy Alan Kohrs, born in Iowa, is an American multi-instrumentalist known for
his resonator guitar skills. He learned to play acoustic guitar at age 8 and
quickly followed with the resonator guitar. In his teens, Kohrs played with the
Missouri bluegrass band Possum Trot while also fronting a local country band. He
moved to Nashville in fall 1994 and began touring with various artists,
including Hank Williams III, Tom T. Hall, Holly Dunn, the John Cowan Band, Dolly
Parton, and Chris Stapleton. Kohrs released his first solo album, A Crack in My
Armour, in 2001 on Junction Records....
