Randall Scotting, born in Marshall, Minnesota, is an American countertenor who
debuted as Nireno in Handel’s Giulio Cesare at Opera Colorado. He studied at
Colorado State University, Butler University, Southern Methodist University, and
the Juilliard Opera Center, earned an Artist Diploma from the University of
Colorado, and received a Fulbright to study Hungarian folk music in Budapest.
His first solo release, The Crown: Heroic Arias for Senesino (2022), featured
