Ramesh Vinayakam, born Ramasubramaniam on July 7, 1963, is a composer, arranger,
singer, and music researcher. He studied Carnatic music under Rukmini Ramani and
Western classical music under Jacob John, earning a diploma from Trinity
College, London. He began his composing career with the devotional album
Prathidhvani (1986), and debuted as a film music director with the Telugu film
Paila Pacheesu (1989). He composed the song “Thottu Thottu” for Hey! Nee Romba
Azhaga Irukke (2002) and went on to score films such as University (2002), Nala
Damayanthi (2003), Azhagiya Theeye (2004...
