Rajaton, a Finnish a cappella ensemble founded in Helsinki in 1997, derives its
name from the Finnish word rajatonmeaning “boundless,” reflecting the group’s
expansive repertoire from sacred classical to near Europop. The sextet-Essi
Wuorela (soprano), Aili Ikonen (mezzo-soprano), Soila Sariola (alto), Antti
Annola (tenor), Ahti Paunu (baritone), and Jussi Chydenius (bass)-has performed
