Quatuor Psophos
Quatuor Psophos, a French string quartet, was formed in 1997 at the Lyon
National Conservatory of Music. The group gained early recognition by winning
international competitions in Osaka, Florence, and London, and received
mentorship from notable figures such as Tainer Schmidt and Walter Levine. In
2005, they became the first French quartet to be selected for BBC Radio 3's New
Generation Artists program. Their discography includes Mendelssohn: Quatuors en
