Ensemble Pygmalion, a French baroque ensemble founded in 2006 by conductor
Raphaël Pichon, emerged from Parisian early music circles and quickly
established a repertoire spanning Baroque to contemporary works. The group’s
breakthrough came with the 2008 release of Bach: Missae Breves BWV 234 & 235,
followed by successive recordings of Bach: Missae Breves BWV 233 & 236 (2010)
and Bach: Missa 1733 (2012). In 2014, the acclaimed Bach: Köthener Trauermusik
