Psirico is a pagode baiano band from Salvador, Bahia, formed in 2000 and led by
singer-songwriter Márcio Victor, whose call-and-response style and high-energy
percussion helped define the group’s carnival-ready sound. After building a
local following in the early 2000s, Psirico moved into national visibility with
