Prudence Liew Mei-Kwan, born in 1964 in Hong Kong, is a singer who began her
career at age eight appearing in television commercials. In 1986, while working
as a film producer, she was approached to sing the theme song "Midnight Love"
for a movie, leading to her signing with Current Records. Her self-titled debut
album Prudence Liew was released in 1986 and sold over 500,000 copies, earning a
10× platinum certification from the Hong Kong IFPI. The second single "The Last
