Proof
Proof is the founder of the group D12 and Eminem's best friend and musical
accomplice. Above all, he is the man who helped Detroit rap build its identity
and emerge on the American and international scene. His only solo album,
Searching for Jerry Garcia, was released in 2005. Proof was killed in a shooting
on April 11, 2006, on 8 Mile Road in Detroit, Michigan.
