Pretty Poison, a dance group based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United
States, formed in 1981. The group consisted of Jade Starling as lead vocalist,
Whey Cooler on keyboards and guitar, Kaya Pryor on percussion, Thomas Hays on
guitar, and Lou Franco on guitar. Pretty Poison's initial breakthrough came with
the release of "Nighttime" in 1984, which reached number 14 on the U.S. Hot
Dance Club Play chart under the Svengali label. In 1987, their song "Catch Me
(I'm Falling)" gained significant traction after being featured in the Jon Cryer
