Pretty Boy Floyd, an American glam metal band formed in 1987 in Hollywood, California, emerged from the Sunset Strip scene with vocalist Steve “Sex” Summers leading the group. The band’s breakthrough arrived with the 1989 single "Rock and Roll (Is Gonna Set the Night on Fire)" and "I Wanna Be with You", which gained MTV rotation and contributed to the success of their debut album Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz released the same year.
