Praga Khan
Maurice Joseph Francois Engelen, known professionally as Praga Khan, was born on
January 7, 1959, in Belgium. He began his career in electronic music in 1987
with the single "Blow Job" under the name Musical Reporters, collaborating with
Chris Inger and Harry Van Oeckel. Throughout the late 1980s, Engelen launched
several new beat projects, including M.N.O., which featured Nikkie Van Lierop
Jade 4U and Oliver Adams. His breakthrough came with the single "Injected With a
Poison" under the Praga Khan moniker, which topped charts in both England and
