Porridge Radio
The idea for the British indie-rock band Porridge Radio started to take shape as
frontwoman Dana Margolin honed her chops playing open mic nights. Dreaming of a
band, she eventually recruited drummer, Sam Yardley, bassist Maddie Ryall, and
keyboard player Georgie Stott in 2015 in Brighton. They kept up a relentless
live schedule, slowly building an audience and coming together as a foursome.
Dana Margolin wrote songs that were emotionally open, while she and her
bandmates created a rock sound full of shiny pop touches. They self-released a
